I truly enjoyed viewing your site. My Paternal Great-Grandmother’s father is buried in the Woodston Cemetery. Along with many of my
    other relatives.
His name was James Franklin Mitchell 1847-1946. He was the Civil War Veteran Post Commander in Woodston. I have been researching my family and found I could find out more information by researching where they lived and the economics of their time span. I am so glad I found this site and thank you for sharing.

Hello Connie. My name is Lynne Aasted and I live in Oregon. My grandfather was Harley Bates who lived in Springdale, Oregon. His parents were Sutliff and Orilla Bates. My mom is June, Harley’s daughter. I am writing to find out
more information about our great grandmother, Orilla Ann Fisk Bates. My cousin, Kevin Bates (middle son of Ron Bates, Harley’s youngest son) and his
wife, Ginger, live in the old Bates home on Bell Road in Springdale. They are
starting up a lavender farm and are thinking of naming the farm “Orilla Farms.”
In visiting with them tonight, Ginger wanted to know more about Orilla, but my mom, June, really didn’t know much about her.
My email is Lynneaasted@gmail.com and if you have anything you could share
with us on Orilla, we would be very grateful.
I am wondering if you are the same Connie Hull that visited Oregon when you were a girl and corresponded for some time with my sister, Becky.
Thank you for any information you can give us.
        Lynne
